This block is made from recycled glass. It can be resized to fit neatly in the hand and requires minimal muscle effort to hold. Unlike natural pumice, which crumbles over time, this version offers a consistent texture that won’t change as you work.

Description

This block is made from recycled glass. It can be resized to fit neatly in the hand and requires minimal muscle effort to hold. Unlike natural pumice, which crumbles over time, this glass version offers a consistent texture that won’t change as you work.

The application is similar to that of the other tools: a few hairs are held against the stone, and then pulled out in the direction of growth. It works quite effectively on the guard hairs. This stone can also be used to touch up the undercoat or starting to restore a previously clipped coat: brush over the dog and lose hair will stick to it.

Suitable for everyone: owners, people new to handstripping, trainee groomers as much as seasoned professionals.
