Rainbow Edition knife – COARSE
This tool was designed for a rolling coat – a knife which will remove the surface hair, but will not too go too deep, This allows the new coat to develop all the time to keep the dog in show condition all of the time. It is especially good on breeds with a thick coat and a lot of undercoat like Norwich and Norfolk Terriers.
Slanted teeth are more effective, but also sharper than our straight teeth in the Classic edition. They need to carry some bite to fight mixed coats, so they are not very suitable for very harsh, crispy coats. This knife must be handled with care.
We pre-dull them and take a lot of the sharpness away, but the edges have to be sharp enough to go through the softer parts.
