Built for bigger dogs and bigger jobs

The Pro version of our famous TwinKing 2in1 brings the same no-cut technology to a larger size. It suits bigger dogs and bigger grooming jobs. Like the Small Pro, it has a steel handle instead of plastic. This makes it far easier to clean and disinfect between clients, which matters in any busy salon.

Design and size

The Pro rake (Big) has wider tooth spacing than the plastic-handled original, at approximately 2.25mm and 5.5mm. It weighs around 145 grams, giving it extra heft for thick, dense coats without straining your wrist.

Why it doesn’t cut

Typical undercoat rakes use sharp blades. Ours don’t. We deliberately dull every tooth through a specialised process. The tool lifts and removes dead undercoat without cutting or damaging the topcoat. You get thorough de-shedding results, and the coat keeps its natural texture and length.

Best breeds for this size

This size works beautifully on larger breeds. Collies, Australian Shepherds, Giant Schnauzers, and Airedales all benefit from the extra reach and heft. So do Wolfhounds, Alaskan Malamutes, and Siberian Huskies. It also handles wire-coated breeds well, including Norwich and Norfolk Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers, Westies, Cairn Terriers, and hand-stripped Spaniels.

How to use it

Hold the skin taut. Move in the direction of hair growth using steady, light pressure. Let the wider teeth handle the initial heavy lifting on thick undercoat. Use a second pass to refine and smooth the finish. Because the tool is blunt, you can work through dense or matted areas with far less risk than a traditional rake carries.

Groomers who try the TwinKing on a big, thick-coated dog often make it their go-to tool. It’s fast, safe, and easy to sanitise between dogs.
